messages.properties v3.3.0 customise IdP Login Page

Hi there,

Just a quick question to ask about the behaviour of a v3.2.1 IdP upgrade to v3.3.0.

Quick bit of background:- I originally started setting up a new v3.2.1 server (not yet in production - it's going to replace our "old" one soon) and configured everything except the metadata configuration and customisation of the Login page, etc. I then got dragged off to do some other projects (as is often the case around here) and in the intervening time before getting back to it, v3.3.0 was released. So upon getting back to this project I decided to do an "in place" upgrade of v3.2.1 to v3.3.0

Everything is good and working, except I have a query about customisation of the login.vm velocity template. Having done an upgrade from v3.2.1 it seems that v3.3.0 is still taking it's template variables (message properties) from idp.home/messages/error-messages.properties rather than the newly specified (as per the documentation of v3.3.0) idp.home/messages/messages.properties. Is this the expected behaviour? And how will this transfer going forward?
I tried putting the message properties I wanted to override into messages.properties and they were not picked up by the login.vm template. Is this the way it should be?

Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
