You already found the page. Most of what you want is exposed better in 3.4. The version there now is a single flow that always returns a fixed error event (ContextCheckDenied) and that's the event that would have to be handled with the error configuration [1].

There's no way in 3.3 to take the example flow and use it for different cases at the same time, which is why the documentation describes how to copy the flow and change it in order to support multiple versions and multiple events.
