Yep, Craig is right.
If you using newer stuff 11g you’ll be making the OAM the SP in terms of your IdP.
The biggest hurdle back on the 10g stuff (OIF/OAM) was that nearly every “O” piece of the chain had to have a connection to the
underlying directory.
I think that has been streamlined a bit nowadays in the 11 series stuff when they moved all of the OIF functionality into the actual OAM
product. But yea it will work .. and a bit easier too :)
