Thanks Scott, can you direct me to the correct binaries for Rhel 7 and
Apache 2.4? Preferably a yum repo but rpm's will work as well.

The installation instructions at
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SHIB2/NativeSPLinuxRPMInstall
has the following section:

/The root of the repository tree for Shibboleth can be found at
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security://shibboleth/ with each
supported OS in its own subdirectory. Each subdirectory is the root of a yum
repository and contains a definition file named security:shibboleth.repo.
(Per the note above,* Red Hat 7 systems must use the CentOS 7 repository*.)/

You are absolutely with no possible room for error using the wrong binaries.
