See the thread "Any experience of integrating IBM Cognos with
Shibboleth?" from about a year ago, for a very high-level view of what
can be done.
As for the rest: You'll need to ask specific questions. Unless someone
has a full how-to lying around, at the specific level of detail
desired from you, you will have to read and follow documentation.
