Problem with list subscription?

Hi,

 

I have a coworker (Cartwright, Mark A <mcartwright at austin.utexas.edu>) who's
trying to subscribe to this list. He's sent several emails to the
subscription list over the last few days and used the web subscription form.
Does it take some time for new members to get approved? I want to make sure
that everything's functioning normally, as I'm not sure whether the process
is automated.
