Also note that some/many of your peers may already be members of
InCommon, so I'd considere joining, too.

Then you could get rid of the manual (and usually insecure) exchange
of metadata with (some/many) your peers.
That's especially important when you consider the ongoing work you
create for yourself (and for each partner) when rolling over keys.
