replacement for SVNResource in IDP 3.3+

Our operations team is looking to ways to better manage our IDP's
configuration files.

I had suggested they investigate the SVN capabilities, but then saw that
they're deprecrated and slated for removal.  There is a suggestion to look
at RunnableResource or ScriptedRunnable, but the links are bad.

Is there any information about implementing these resources?  Are they
available in IDP 3.3.x?
