What do you think "validation" means?
Validate what? You will never be "supported" with this unless Stanford joins the Consortium and make a formal request for this platform to be supported and we come up with an viable way to do so.
Do they work? If they break like the RHEL RPMs did, which I would frankly expect, then obviously there's an issue in your system tripping an issue in the software, which doesn't really help other than to rule out a possible fix and leaves us with a bug that by definition I won't look at unless it's reproduced on a supported OS.
