As someone who spends a lot of time running Ubuntu binaries on Windows I am always sceptical about claims of binary compatibility - it rarely works perfectly (with Wow64 being a good counter example).  It's great when it works but when it doesn't you have to live with it.

What do Oracle say about it (apart from "you need to buy or SAML solution" of course...)
