An example using software from the Shibboleth project:

* Set up the Shibboleth EDS software on a page outside the protected
  resource on your server, e.g. at /login/
  https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/EDS10
  Alternatively, since you referenced SWITCHaai's central Discovery
  Service in your config, use https://wayf.switch.ch/SWITCHaai/WAYF if
  that suits your needs.

* Protect the resource as needed with the Shib SP, then set
  SSO/@discoveryURL to the URL you "installed" the EDS into.
  
* Success!
