Scheduled Restart of IDP Service

In terms of how we restarted it, I set a cron to do it once a week first thing Monday morning. On the old, now deleted VM.
In Windows that would be a scheduled task.

Hello All,

It was brought to our attention that every two weeks or so our IDP server will not respond to requests. When this happens we just  stop and start the shibd_idp.exe  service and everything starts working again. 

I was wondering how other organizations restart their shibd_idp.exe automatically and how often do they do this.
