Resolver Dependency Graphing

I'm looking at someone's configuration files for attribute resolution and release.  They have excellent comments on where each attribute is used, but it's all just comments.

Has anyone built an automated tool that can either:

A)  Show the connections from a particular object in the resolver to others when looked up by ID
B)  Visualize the whole thing.  You couldn't capture every possible configuration, but could you hit the 95% case with a simple model?  Lines could represent dependencies with 3 primary tiers.
