That would definitely surprise me, but maybe the pool is somehow maintained inside ldaptive and re-connected to from whatever objects are created above. Daniel would have to weigh in there, but that would surprise me.

I've definitely while developing/testing done various kinds of wholesale changes, but I don't reload the resolver in my OSU system, so I haven't explored that very thoroughly.
