CAS as Remote Authentication Handler in V3

Hi Marvin!
We would like to upgrade our CAS Server soon, so are thinking of the CAS support in the IDP v3 bundle as a logical next step for us. There is some talk of continuing to run a CAS 4.x stand-alone service, but I’d like to avoid that if we can.
Thanks for the feedback!

Presumably we should be able to make this work with the Unicon plugin v3.0.0 support, as we cannot yet take advantage of the latest v3.1.0 (which requires an external CAS Server v4.x) ?
I don't have much to offer here. You're really asking a question about compatibility of the Unicon components with various IdP and Jasig/Apereo CAS versions, which I can't answer. Maybe someone from Unicon will pick up here.
I encourage you to check out the CAS support in the IdP as time permits.
