SP cannot handle multiple IdP

Most SPs in the cloud operate that way, so you're going to have to bite off operating a gateway IdP sooner or later. SimpleSAML.php is one option, using a commercial service that caters to cloud services is probably another.

One of the clear messages I'm taking to the board is that it's not optional for us as a project to avoid providing proxying support in the IdP, but that's a long way off.
