Broken MappedAttributeDefinition Example?

I was fiddling with 3.2.1, but the deployer who was having challenges I believe was using 3.3.0.  However, our shared configuration base was crafted for 3.2.1.  Did the schema change and I missed it?

I'll upgrade first thing when we all get back to the office on Monday, but I won't have any more details available until then, I'm afraid.
