Setting up an IDP to perform HTTP Basic Authentication

Hi

  I'm trying to setup Shibboleth IDP to perform HTTP Basic Authentication for a mobile app.  The best instructions I've found were at https://github.com/biancini/Shibboleth-Authentication/wiki/Install-Basic but they were, shall we say, not the best.  

  I need to setup a test server here to make sure it works before the vendor starts doing their magic to authenticate their mobile app against our IDP.

  Does anybody have any suggestions or pointers?
