printeron.com and Federated Authentication

Hello all,

I'm told by IT staff in the field that this provider only authenticates
against LDAP.
Has anyone utilized shib for authentication with this service provider?

The configuration guide suggests that only LDAP is supported, but thought
I'd ask
anyway in case someone has help them expand their vision.
