The endpoint is, the entity isn't (I think you just meant entity).

What you really want is to avoid this issue later, if you have to change the entityID at all, and pick a new entityID that does not at all reference any physical hosts. It should be logical, and can carry all the endpoints you want now and later and then you can move things around at will.
