I'd suggest preventing that situation during aggregation, e.g. using
pyff's xslt pipeline and removing all validUntil XML attributes
(before slapping on one on the EntitiesDescriptor in the finalize
pipeline).
pyff even supplies such an XSLT script in the distribution (tidy.xsl).
