We just upgraded to IDP v3 last week, and Edge doesn't error out for us.

A google for the error seems to point to cross frame issues, commonly with (but not limited to) Google Translate. Did you customize the velocity templates and/or using any frames?

Internet Explorer EDGE doesn’t execute document.forms[0].submit() on /idp/profile/SAML2/Redirect/SSO with error SCRIPT70: Permission denied.

All works fine with same s.o. and with Internet Explorer App Desktop version.
