Converting an LDAP value to lowercase (IdP v3)

Thanks Scott. I couldn't find any Transform documentation so looked at the ScriptedAttributes wiki page and adapted one of those examples.

I've persuade it to half work:
2016-06-09 13:15:05,298 - DEBUG [net.shibboleth.idp.attribute.resolver.AbstractAttributeDefinition:247] - Attribute Definition 'google_principal': produced an attribute with the following values [StringAttributeValue{value=dave.perry at hull-college.ac.uk}]

But then it fails to attach this to the NameID:

2016-06-09 13:15:05,491 - DEBUG [org.opensaml.saml.saml2.profile.AbstractSAML2NameIDGenerator:92] - No identifier to use
2016-06-09 13:15:05,492 - DEBUG [org.opensaml.saml.saml2.profile.impl.AddNameIDToSubjects:341] - Profile Action AddNameIDToSubjects: Unable to generate a NameID, leaving empty

Any ideas what it doesn't like?

That's for authentication, there's nothing I'm aware that would do this for attributes. I would imagine you would use a scripted attribute.

Some kind of Transform attribute definition would be straightforward of course, but there isn't one now that I know of.
