PowerDMS integration

Does anyone have experience with PowerDMS?  Our Student Health office is 
looking at this software.  This comment from the vendor was forwarded to 
us:

"We currently use Micorsoft Azure for authentication. In order for single 
sign on to work we need a WS-Federation Metadata URL or a WS-Federation 
Metadata Upload. It was mentioned that you are currently using Shibboleth 
with strictly works with a SAML communication. We do not currently support 
SAML. In my previous encounters with Shibboleth, our engineer suggested 
using ADFS (Or another third party) as a middle man between PowerDMS and 
Shibboleth. This will make the connection a WS-Federation and that is 
currently the only protocol we currently support."

We're running Shibboleth IDP v3.2, which doesn't appear to support 
WS-Federation.  We do have an instance of ADFS (for Office365), but I 
don't know if we want to support the WS-Federation protocol in addition to 
CAS and SAML.

I'm just looking for your experiences and thoughts.
