Activation condition using relying party by group

Turns out the issue isn't the relying party by group, but the relying party by tag, that's the problem. I was trying to be clever and include it by reference to improve readability, and I thought I might be doing something wrong there. So, I put it directly in-line, inside my list element of an AND bean. Same result, but when I comment it out and leave the other condition in my AND, it works fine.
I'm using the example, all be it unvalidated, verbatim off of the wiki minus the id attribute of the outer bean since I'm wrapping it inside the AND and thus don't need to give it its own id. When it was being called by reference, it obviously had an id -- different value of the id than the example, but otherwise identical.
So, any clues on why it's trying to type cast and fail?
Keith

None of the examples have been validated, but I'm fairly sure you're applying the example incorrectly.
