Which is why you check the SP's log files to see what attributes are
recieved or discarded (transaction.log) at the SP, not leave it to
successful application integration further downstream, which also
requires correct use of some programming API to get at the
information.
But none of the above explains error messages at the IDP (you changing
the SP's entityID to arbitrary values does, without the IDP knowing
about those changes), or why you think you need custom RelyingParty
settings at the IDP (or what specificaly those are), or why your
"simple PHP app" you said you were using didn't show anything (which
can't be influenced by incorrect Java API use or implementation in the
container).
