Newbie SP problem

First, thanks for the help.

I removed the entry in relying-party.xml and restarted the IDP.

I still get the same error...

For Peter:

TrustedPartners-metadata.xml is in the metadata dir and is refenerenced in relying-party:

<!-- Local file of metadata for manually maintained Trusted Partners -->
           id="TrustedPartners"
metadataFile="/opt/shibboleth-idp/metadata/TrustedPartners-metadata.xml" />

I thought so at first, but IIRC V2 (and possibly V3 even) log that last part from the ID of the RelyingParty configuration element they're applying. I think with no metadata it would say something about the relying party being "anonymous". May be misremembering though.

Really depends on what's in relying-party.xml. Lots of people creating overrides make the mistake of thinking they inherit the default profiles already configured above and don't repeat them.
