IDPV3 InCommon and EDUCAUSE examples?

I'm not sure what you would be missing. Other than metadata, that's all highly local material. In terms of what EDUCAUSE's SP requires, I think they have a page that documents that here:

https://www.educause.edu/idp_setup/info

Their material there is fairly precise in terms of the attribute requirements, and the parts they omit are essentially things that pretty much will work by default with any SAML implementation, and certainly do with Shibboleth.

Also, note they're R&S. If you support R&S, it will "just work".
