Need userPrincipalName attribute with the domain format

Couldn't you used a scoped attribute too? E.g. (attribute-resover.xml)
    <resolver:AttributeDefinition xsi:type="ad:Scoped" id="domain_user" scope="domain.ext" sourceAttributeID="sAMAccountName">
        <resolver:Dependency ref="myLDAP" />
    </resolver:AttributeDefinition>
(this would send 'adusername at domain.ext' as the attribute value for attribute domain_user)

Probably either the template[1] or script[2] attribute definition.
