Hello All,
My colleges and I are having some issues with monitoring our Service Provider nodes that are currently being load balanced. We're looking for any suggestions or possible solutions to our issue.
We currently have, let's say 3 machines, behind a load balancer using IIS and the Shibboleth Service provider registered to the Virtual IP address of the service, myservice.company.com". However, we'd like to be able to monitor each of the machines serving up this site: serverA.company.com, serverB.company.com, serverC.company.com.
Is it possible to configure the Service Provider for Shibboleth to contain both sets of names in the configuration and then output the metadata? Myservice.company.com & the 3 server names. This way we can write an automated transaction to test each node in the load balancer to see if their each working? Any suggestions for configuring and outputting the XML for our IdP would be greatly appreciated. We are currently using IdP 3.2 and SP 2.6.
Thank you,
