Memcache Requirement

Hi,

 

    Shibboleth documentation page
(https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/IDP30/StorageConfiguration#S
torageConfiguration-MemcachedStorageService ) listed that the minimum
requirement for Memcached is version 1.4.14 or later. 

 

    How hard is that requirement as the version that ships with RedHat 6 is
only 1.4.4 (but we expect that various security patches to have been
back-ported from later releases into this version on RedHat).

 

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
