Git java-support

Thank you for the port specification.  I was trying to find that yesterday but no luck.
Yes.  It is a firewall configuration on my side.

I have “smart” https working now.  I tried “smart” https yesterday but it also did not work.
I’m sure it was because I was leaving out the ‘/git/’ path in my URI.

The following works for me:

git clone git://git.shibboleth.net/java-support

If it doesn't work for you, the most likely issue is that you have an outbound firewall that doesn't permit you to make connections to port 9418, which is what anonymous git access needs.
