Genetating eduPersonTargetedID for UK Federation

Hi

Can somebody please point me in the direction of some examples of how to generate an eduPersonTargetedID attribute. In my old IDP I used a ComputedId data connector in my attribute-resolver.xml to generate eduPersonTargetedID. I read that this still works but what is the better alternative?
