If by vendor, you mean supported database applications, then see this page:
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/IDP30/StorageConfiguration
The three biggies are MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle.

Subject: implement Shibboleth
Hi there,
Our university plans to implement Shibboleth as the single sign-on solution.
We have an IT consultant from a consulting firm to do the project. He would
like to know if there is a list of database vendors that support Shibboleth
and if one vendor can be picked up as a test vendor.
I don't find much information about the database vendors on the shibboleth
website. Or I may not know the right place to search. Can I get any
recommendations from you guys? Thanks.
Cheers,
Wei XUAN MLIS.
