IdP 3.21 Windows MSI AD LDAP configuration properties

In using the Windows MSI installed for 3.2.1, and telling it to configure for AD authentication, it generated a filter for authn search that used sAMAccountName, but the resolver search filter ended up being:

   idp.attribute.resolver.LDAP.searchFilter= (uid=$resolutionContext.principal)

I assume you'd want that to also be sAMAccountName rather than uid, unless I'm missing something.
