There's plenty of other discovery software, like the SWITCH WAYF, and I'm sure others have their picks.
I believe Scott Koranda? was going to file a RFE to include cookie bypass in the EDS, but in the meantime I doubt it's all that hard to throw that into the Javascript if somebody wanted.
Yes, a cookie bypass is an RFE from the LIGO project (a Shibboleth Consortium member).
I will get that JIRA filed soon...been distracted lately...
