You could either start reading the documentation on the wiki
(e.g. about Spring Web Flow,
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/IDP30/General+Architecture#GeneralArchitecture-UseofSpringandWebFlow
) or just ask what it is you want to achieve.
Asking individual questions about individual code snippts from the IDP
would take far too long to find out how any part of the IDP works, IMO.
