No. The problem with Dependency is that it's context-less. It doesn't connect the dependency to the use of the dependency, which creates problems connecting it to the place it's used. We need a clear socket/plug for each use of a dependency so it's not ambiguous which piece of data is being referenced.

Got it, that makes sense.  Thank you for the clarification, and I now see exactly why that would improve the configuration situation, but not necessarily enough to warrant the trouble in this version.
