This is the simplest form of the ideas I've been trying to express for years.  Really, the only reason I bothered writing it up was my own catharsis.  Finally.  Done.  Writ.

It's a guilty pleasure and no more.  I don't expect the world to magically change, although I wouldn't be stunned if it ran another protocol in parallel. ;p
