I would have to think about whether it's possible (certainly it is with code), but I wasn't saying that, I was just explaining why it wasn't exactly an oversight that it's not there as a fixed value.
I don't have all this swapped into my head right now so I don't know offhand if there's an easy way to do it. Yes, it's a gauge, but you can do some wacky things with Spring and I suspect with the right wiring it could be pulled off from the outside for now.
