I would still file a bug on it. If the flow is handling whatever it's seeing in this particular manner I think that can't be correct. At minimum there's the improvement of the template to check for the warning case (as Daniel said, it wasn't written with the idea that a successful login would end up back on the form), but that aside, I think there still has to be a bug in there.
