Filtering an attribute that contains JSON with more attributes

Could you use a scripted data connector, giving it the JSON attribute as an input?

Then it could populate up as many attributes as you wanted and use them as you wanted later.

I'll add the usual declaimer about using exec() - you are potentially giving the crown jewels away here if you JSON turns out to be more than that...
