custom authentication

Scott, you got really angry. But I cannot understand the reason for that.
Before posting the query I did my work of understanding sessions and all.
Browser sessions: are closed when browser is closed
Persistent sessions: are long-lived. are active till the timeout happens

With this knowledge, I looked at the IDP documentation and found the
session configuration information at
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/IDP30/StorageConfiguration.
Since it mentions about using ClientPersistentStorageService for long-lived
sessions, I configured it in IDP and expected that it will persist even
when the browser is closed. But it didnot happen like that.
Anyways, no problem configuration of IDP should not be my issue. I will
just tell my customer that I gave SAML SSO support in my web app and now
you go read the documentation and figure out the IDP configurations on your
own.
