Question about where to start/Which version to use

Hi All,

I’m looking into tinkering around with Shibboleth as the authentication platform for some stuff we are looking to do.  I’ve been reading the documentation and I stumbled across some documents saying that the V3 documentation for IDP is not fully complete.  Additionally the documentation about obtaining the source references idp-2.  I was wondering if idp3 is the best place to start or if using idp2 is still recommended as the golden standard for now and then migrating to V3 at a later date.
