I don't mean tokens, I mean *clients*. There has to be a broker on the
client between the token and the service, so much like a lot of fancy
methods, it only works for non-web when you make it web.

OATH is a lot more flexible, and cheaper to implement if you have a
broad spectrum of problems to solve.
