No idea whether that covers what you're after but there's
documentation available for SAML 2.0 for some SAP thing. E.g. one of
the first results when searching for "SAP WebAS ABAP SAML":

In any case, this is a question for the SAP support, the Shib IDP can
certainly be made to interop.

I also have a few bookmarks about use of SAM2 with something called
"NetWeaver Business Client for HTML", in case that's in any way
related.
