It wasn't really logged at all, the patch was to get it logged and then abort. I fixed it in 2.4.0 (knew it was a while back, didn't recall when).

It's not your cause if you're running 2.4. I don't know of any other intermittent issues that would prevent attributes from showing up, that points to a resolver issue. There are all kinds of controls in the resolver around when different results are errors or not, and lots of ways failed connectors could lead to empty results, but that's really a local question.
