Not necessarily.  The "bucket of attributes per DataConnector" analogy is a
bit simplistic.  IIRC any resolved attribute of the correct name will be
plugged in.  Whether a DataConnector has been resolved when the attribute is
resolved is pretty nondeterministic (modulo actually having it as a
dependency).  IDP680 has the gory details.  

I wonder whether we need to think about addressing it sooner rather than
later?
