You install the SAML SP and add its SAML metadata (i.e., SAML Metadata
describing the SP) to the SAML IDP.
Likewise, you add SAML Metadata about your Shibboleth IDP to the SAML
SP (or configure trust in whatever other ways the SP supports,
depending on the SP implementation).

This is not the Shibboleth documentation (which you should be using),
is 6 years old, and ultimately has nothing to do with your question.
