Debugging LDAP problems with IdP 3

Hi,

I am trying to set up LDAP password authentication with IdP 3. I can connect to the LDAP server with “ldap admin tool," but when I connect with the IdP, I get an exception out of ldaptive:

org.ldaptive.provider.ConnectionException: javax.naming.NamingException: [LDAP: error code 1 - 00000000: LdapErr: DSID-0C090F7C, comment: TLS or SSL already in effect, data 0, v2580]; remaining name ''
at org.ldaptive.provider.jndi.JndiStartTLSConnectionFactory.createInternal(JndiStartTLSConnectionFactory.java:95)

The problem is, I can’t tell what it’s trying to do that causes the exception. What can I do to find out more information about this problem? I’ve tried increasing some of the logging levels to TRACE but it doesn’t print any more information.
